To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, WA Health is reminding women of all ages and stages to ensure they get their health checked regularly, to give themselves the best chance of a full and healthy life.

Self-breast examinations and pap smears are essential health checks for women of all ages to help with early cancer detection.

And regular mammograms are advised for women over 40.

For optimal physical and mental health, pregnant women and mothers are encouraged to access support for their unborn babies, newborns, children and themselves.

Help ensure you achieve all your ambitions – look after your health this International Women’s Day.
