What is a screening mammogram?
A screening mammogram is a low dose X-ray of your breast that can detect breast cancer at an early stage before it can be felt or noticed.
BreastScreen WA (external site) offers free screening mammograms to women 40 or over with no breast symptoms.
If you are concerned about any breast symptoms see your GP as soon as possible.
