About us

Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) is Western Australia’s specialist paediatric hospital and trauma centre, providing outstanding medical care to children and adolescents up to 16 years of age.

The 298-bed hospital replaced Princess Margaret Hospital for Children when it opened in early 2017 and has been designed to reflect the natural healing beauty of the neighbouring Kings Park and Botanic Gardens.

PCH is part of the Child and Adolescent Health Service, which also incorporates the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and Child and Adolescent Community Health.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents.
