Vaccine safety surveillance system, AusVaxSafety, released a report last week confirming the safety of the flu vaccine after monitoring nearly 40,000 adults and children who have already been vaccinated and participated in the program. It reports no significant, unexpected or unusual reactions to the 2017 influenza vaccine.
AusVaxSafety is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and uses patient feedback to investigate vaccine safety.
