WA Health works with hundreds of organisations across the State to protect and improve the health of Western Australians.
Each year, we provide almost $1 billion in funding to a wide range of organisations. These organisations include private and not-for-profit community services that work in areas such as:
- health promotion and awareness
- patient transport
- home hospital care
- injury prevention.
Our partnerships with these organisations help us to prevent illness and promote healthy lifestyles, as well as to treat people in hospital when they become sick or injured.
By working together, WA Health and its partner organisations make the best use of funds and resources to improve the health of the entire WA community.
