How can the Cancer Nurse Coordination Service help you?
A diagnosis of cancer can be a very worrying time for patients, their family and friends.
The Cancer Nurse Coordination Service is a team of specialist nurses located in both metropolitan Perth and rural regions of Western Australia. They can support you by:
- providing and explaining information on your diagnosis and treatment
- liaising and linking with other services both within your treating hospital and the wider community
- assisting you through the health care system and finding the best services to help you and your family
- acting as a central point of contact
- coordinating appointments.
The service is available Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
If your issue is urgent please contact your GP or your nearest emergency department.
